Charming Mountainside Arts Town
Charming mountainside town with a big city theater scene, the beautiful Lithia Park (built by the same designer as Golden Gate Park), a quaint downtown with excellent dining and cute boutiques, and endless outdoor activities from hiking to mountain biking to skiing. Additionally, Ashland is famous for its Shakespeare Festival and year-round theater offerings. It's no wonder it was ranked in the top 10 of "The 100 Best Small Art Towns in America." Ashland is a great place to raise a family with excellent schools, parks, and extracurricular activities. Ashland is also home to Southern Oregon University.

Spend leisurely mornings strolling through Lithia Park with a creek running through it. There are numerous duck ponds, a new Japanese garden, summer concert venue, playground, and more. You can connect to a wide network of hiking and biking trails. In winter, head up to Mount Ashland Ski Area for skiing, sledding or cross country skiing.
