We moved to Southern Oregon from California when my husband, Dr. Seth Urban, finished residency and fellowship. Nothing in my decade of marketing and advertising experience, or Seth's medical training, prepared us for the home buying process. We had never bought a home, had no idea what a physician loan was, had no vacation time to fly up and look at houses, and ultimately had to virtually search for a home (even placed an offer on our home sight unseen!). The process was stressful, and I found myself spending countless hours trying to educate myself on the home buying process, physician loans, area offerings, communities, schools, inspection process, and more! Over time I found this was the case for many other physicians and physician families. Eager to improve this process, and help others not experience the same stresses we went through, I launched my business!
